About Painted PCs

Painted PCs started in a one-car garage with a borrowed airbrush and a beat-up tower that deserved better. A few hundred coats of clear later, it's a small studio dedicated to one thing: making your PC look like nothing else on the desk.

Every case is prepped, primed, painted, and clear-coated by hand. Candy colors. Metallic flake. Hand-cut stencils. Cured properly so the finish actually holds up to thermals, fans, and the occasional LAN-party scuff.

Pick a piece from the shop, or commission something only you'll own.

Meet the artist — Ellie

Every piece that leaves the studio passes through Ellie's hands. She's a working artist studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where her practice spans painting, illustration, and surface design — the same instincts she brings to every case.

Her training shows up in the small things: how a fade resolves under clear coat, the way a stencil edge sits against a candy base, the color stories that tie a build together. Nothing is templated. Each PC is treated as its own canvas — sketched, color-matched, and painted to the same standard as the work hanging in her studio.

If you're commissioning a build, you're collaborating with her directly. Bring references, moods, or just a feeling — she'll translate it into something only you own.
